Delivery and Returns Information
Due to current UK laws you have to be 18 years or older to purchase ANY firearm. Guns,Ammunition,Primers and Powder CANNOT be delivered to your home address and must be collected from our store or a 3rd party registered firearms dealer*. When collecting your gun please provide a valid form of identification and / or your firearms certificate. If you require more information please call us on 01287 635959 *A 3rd party dealer can charge a small handling fee but this will be discussed when a member of staff calls you to confirm your order & collection.
AP Sporting can only deliver goods to you in an approximate period. We will always endeavour to dispatch your items within 48 hours however product availability can vary. All goods will be sent to the address given by you which can be seen in your order confirmation email. We aim to get your goods to you within 2-3 working days but some products have specific delivery requirement which may extend delivery timescales. Please see individual product pages for more information.
Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments as availability of products can vary. For example certain products have specific delivery requirements which are explained below.
These are items that we stock in our shop and orders for these items will take 2-3 days to arrive. If you would like to purchase the item in person then please call ahead to make sure the store you're travelling to has it in stock
DIRECT SHIPMENT ITEMS
These products are dispatched direct from the manufacturer on behalf of AP Sporting. In most cases they will arrive separately to any other items you have ordered. Please see the individual product pages for specific delivery estimates as each manufacturer will use a different courier. If you need to return or exchange your product please return the items to AP Sporting . For more information please call 01287 635959.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
These are products which aren't always kept in stock or are tailor made. Special Order Items can have extended delivery timescales so for more information please see the individual product pages for specific delivery estimates.
COLLECTION ONLY ITEMS
These items normally require Identification (Passport) or a firearms / Shotgun certificate before they are handed over. Shotguns, Rifles, Airguns and Moderators are usually good examples. When purchasing a 'collection only' item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. In most instances you can choose to collect your item from one of our store if It's a firearm from a 3rd party gun dealer. The latter may be at an additional cost to yourself.
These are usually items that are going to be out of stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. As soon as the item is back in stock yours will be dispatched within 24 hours where possible. Please see individual product pages for current back in stock dates. In rare occasions these dates can be changed by the manufacturers so we recommend staying in contact with our shop once a month depending on the product lead time.
PLEASE CALL THE RELEVANT STORE OR THE 3RD PARTY GUN DEALER TO MAKE SURE YOUR ITEM HAS ARRIVED BEFORE YOU TRAVEL TO COLLECT YOUR ORDER.
REFUNDS & RETURNS
The Goods in question must be returned to us unopened within 14 days of your cancellation notice and must be received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you, unopened and sealed in their original packaging in a condition suitable for re-sale. Unless the Goods are faulty We shall be entitled to recover any direct costs of having to recover the Goods from you and may set such costs off against the amount to be re-credited to you.
All returned goods should carry a copy of the original invoice. We recommend you keep a copy of these for your own records. The goods should be packaged to a satisfactory standard in a safe and relevant manner. Our return address should be clearly shown on the front of the parcel which is as follows:
